Academie Musique Boo Run 5K & Fun Run
The Academie Musique Boo Run events take place on October 31, 2026, at 4320 Lions Park Dr, Temple, TX. The event is a fundraiser to help Academie Musique purchase the former Cater Elementary building and create a permanent space for music, art, and community programs.
Event distances:
- 3.14 miles - 5K Boo Run
- 1 mile - Family Mile Fun Run/Walk (one ticket covers the whole family)
- 1 mile - Individual Mile Fun Run/Walk
Registration information is provided for each event. Registration windows in 2026 include openings in August and closings in late October or November, and fees are listed per event. Early bird pricing ends September 15, 2026; fees increase to $50 for the 5K and $35 for the mile walks after that date.
Costumes are encouraged but not required. Prizes are listed for best costume and team costumes. The event notes that proceeds will support more space for lessons, performances, community events, and opportunities for children and families to participate in the arts.
