US Road Running - Temple

Event Overview
The US Road Running event in Temple, Texas, features a variety of distance options held at Wilson Park. This race is part of a larger club series, although participants do not need to be club members to take part in the event. All participants are required to register online in advance, as no on-site registration is provided on the day of the race. Packet pickup is scheduled to begin 30 minutes prior to the start and concludes 10 minutes before the first runners depart.
Course Information
The event utilizes out-and-back course layouts starting next to the Wilson Park Recreation Center. The courses for the different distances are structured as follows:
- 5K: A single out-and-back lap on the 3.11-mile course.
- 10K: Two laps of the out-and-back 3.11-mile course.
- Half Marathon: Four laps of a 3.28-mile out-and-back course.
- Marathon: Eight laps of a 3.28-mile out-and-back course.
The event has a total course time limit of 6 hours.
Additional Features
All finishers receive a medal upon completing their respective distances. In addition to the running competition, the event hosts a costume contest.
