This event takes place on October 24, 2026 at Liberty Park, 700 Veterans Way, Belton, TX. It offers themed running and walking options with separate categories for zombies and humans and a child costume candy run.
Distances
- 5K for Zombie and Human categories, including student and soldier options
- 1 mile Child Costume Candy Run for Pre-K through 5th Grade
Registration for most adult events opens 07/28/2026 08:00; student, soldier, and some youth categories open 07/28/2026 11:06. Race-day registration will run from 8:00 to 8:45 AM at the race site using personal devices; credit card only. T-shirts are guaranteed for registrations received by October 9, 2026. Listed fees include $30 for standard adult entries, $15 for student/soldier entries, and $10 for the child candy run.
Awards include the top three male and female zombie finishers and the top three male and female human finishers, plus a deadliest zombie award and a scariest costume contest. Race packets are available for pickup at Belton New Tech High School the Friday before the event. Proceeds support local efforts to fund flu shots at an HEB clinic and benefit the Belton New Tech freshman class. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
