Yaya’s Run 2027 : Ventura
The 2nd Annual Yaya’s Run takes place on April 11, 2027 at Surfers Point at Seaside Park in Ventura. The event honors the memory of a local runner and uses an oceanfront, chip-timed course on the beach path. The course is open to other path users and will be marked with cones, chalk, and signs.
An aid station is located at the start/finish turnaround and supplies water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and energy gels. The half marathon follows three 4.36 mile loops and uses the same start/finish aid station; time limit for the half marathon is 3 hours 30 minutes.
Distances offered:
- 5K out-and-back on the beach path
- 10K two 5K loops
- 15K three 5K loops
- Half marathon three 4.36 mile loops
Included with registration are custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, free photos and videos, live results at finish, trophies and achievement badges, and an event app with race media and rankings. Age group awards are available for pickup at the race only. Transfers require contacting the organizer; a no refund policy applies.
