Coastal Kickoff 2027 : Ventura
Coastal Kickoff takes place on January 9, 2027 at Surfers Point at Seaside Park in Ventura, California. The event offers multiple running distances on a marked beach path and uses out-and-back loops for each course.
Distances offered:
- 5K one out and back route
- 10K two 5K loops
- 15K three 5K loops
- Half marathon three 4.36-mile loops, south first then north to a marked turnaround
The course is an open route on the beach path and is marked with cones, chalk and signs. An aid station is located at the turnaround by the start/finish and provides water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups and GU gels. Participants should be courteous to other pedestrians, runners and cyclists on the path.
Registration includes a custom finisher medal, a drawstring goodie bag, live results at finish, free photos by bib number, free videos and race highlight reels, snacks and samples, and access to a free event app. Age group awards are available for pickup at the race only. Group discounts are applied for groups of three or more. Transfers to another participant or a later race date are allowed; there is a no refund policy.
Race-day registration prices are $35 for the 5K, $40 for the 10K, $45 for the 15K and $50 for the half marathon, payable by card, cash or common digital methods. Nearby parking is paid; one lot charges $2 cash only. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
