Yaya's Run is a multi-distance road event held on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at Surfers Point at Seaside Park, Shoreline Drive, Ventura, CA 93001. The event is presented in memory of a local runner and offers multiple distance options on the beach path.

Course and support
The course uses an open beach-path route with marked out-and-back loops. The 5k is an out-and-back route. The 10k is two 5k loops and the 15k is three 5k loops. The half marathon uses three 4.36-mile loops; the half marathon route goes south first with the 5k/10k/15k and then continues north to a marked turnaround. An aid station is located at the turnaround/start-finish area and provides water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, and Gu gels.
Entries, timing, and policies
Price tiers are listed for early bird, race month, and race day entry, with higher fees on race day. Race day registration accepts cash, Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal. Transfers are allowed only by email request to the organizer; there is a no-refund policy. The half marathon has a 3:15 time limit; early-start requests can be arranged with the organizer.
Amenities and results
Registration includes custom finisher medals, drawstring goodie bags, free photos and videos, posted results within 12-24 hours, and an assortment of snacks and samples.
