Abominable Trail Race - Lake Geneva Ziplines & Adventures
The Abominable Trail Race takes place on 11/14/2026 at Lake Geneva Ziplines & Adventures, N3232 County Road H, Lake Geneva, WI 53147. Runners follow forest trails that include several hills and marked looped courses.
Available distances:
- 5K: forest loop with one water station around the halfway point
- 10K: forest loop with two water stations roughly every 1.5 to 2 miles
- 15K: one lap of the 10K loop then one lap of the 5K loop
- 30K: three laps of the 10K loop
The 30K can be run solo or as a team relay. Team options and orders listed by the organizer:
- 2 person relay: Runner 1 - 10K, Runner 2 - 10K, Runner 1 - 5K, Runner 2 - 5K
- 3 person relay: Runner 1 - 10K, Runner 2 - 10K, Runner 3 - 10K
- 4 person relay: each runner selects a 5K or 10K leg; order chosen at registration
Participants receive a race shirt, finisher medal, free action photos, professional chip timing, a well-marked course and a drink at the finish. Aid is available on course and at the finish line; a tent is provided for multi-lap racers to leave bags. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each individual distance.
Base Camp features music, a live DJ, food trucks, local craft beer, games, warm fire pits and local vendors. Spectator access is free. Early packet pick-up is scheduled for Friday 11/13 at Lake Geneva House Of Music across the street; day-of pick-up is also available. Parking is at House of Music, across the street, $10 cash per car; exact change is requested.
