Abominable Trail Race - Lake Geneva
The Abominable Trail Race is scheduled for 11/14/2026 at Lake Geneva Ziplines & Adventures in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. The event uses forest trails with notable hills and offers timed trail running on marked loops.

- 5K
- 10K
- 15K
- 30K solo or relays for 2, 3, or 4 people
Relay formats are defined: a 2 person team splits the 30K into two 10K legs and two 5K legs so each runner completes one 10K and one 5K; a 3 person team runs three 10K legs; a 4 person team assigns 5K or 10K legs among runners.
Included for participants are a participant shirt, a finisher medal, free action photos, professional chip timing, a well-marked course, and a drink at the finish line. Awards are given to the top three men and top three women in the individual 5K, 10K, 15K, and 30K categories. Spectator entry is free.
Course and logistics details: the 5K loop has one water station near halfway; the 10K loop has two water stations roughly every 1.5 to 2 miles; a water station is also at the finish and a tent is available for multi-lap bag storage. The 15K is one 10K lap plus one 5K lap. The 30K is three 10K laps.
Parking is at House of Music across the street from the venue with a $10 cash fee per car, exact change requested. Early packet pick up is available Friday 11/13 at Lake Geneva House Of Music across from the race venue; packets are also available on race day. Room blocks with discounted rates are available at Fairfield Inn & Suites Lake Geneva and Comfort Suites Lake Geneva East with booking deadlines in October.
