Event
The 361° Abersoch Half Marathon is a 13.1 miles race held in the seaside village of Abersoch on the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales. The event is part of the Abersoch Triple Crown series and is listed for Saturday 19th September 2026. Other races associated with the event weekend include a 10K trail, a 2K Beach Blast and a Torchlight beach run.
Course and race services
The course is predominantly on roads and finishes with the final kilometre along Abersoch Beach to a spectator area on the sand. The route passes through the villages of Llanengan, Llangian and Sarn Bach. Drink stations offering water or isotonic sports drink are located at 5.7 miles, 8.7 miles, 11.3 miles and at the finish. The event uses ChronoChip bibtag timing and is affiliated to the Welsh Athletics Association, with entrants required to follow Welsh Athletics rules. Organisers provide clear mile and direction signs, marshals, professional traffic management and medic support. Finishers receive a zinc alloy medal with a bespoke lanyard, a technical race T-shirt, and recovery food and drink.
