SheUltra
SheUltra is an all female ultra event held on the Llyn Peninsula that combines a long distance route with fundraising for women’s cancer research and support. The 2027 edition is presented as the fourth edition and the event lists capacity for 2500 entrants. The primary distance offered is 50 km along the Pen Llyn route, which is fully marked so navigation is not required.
The event describes several on-course and participant services: an all-female medical team, additional toilets and sanitary products at aid stations, breastfeeding or expressing facilities, drop bag storage, traffic management, and optional GPS live tracking. Organisers provide vegan food options at aid stations, a wellness team to support anxious entrants, a closed space for registration, and a medal issued at the start of the event. Ambassadors walk, hike, and run on the route and training plans are available for entrants.
SheUltra states its mission is to raise awareness, provide support, and fund research for women’s cancer. Fundraising activity and a linked fundraising page are part of the event programme.
