Event overview
The Ty Gwyn Abersoch 10K is scheduled for Saturday 30th May 2026 in Abersoch. The course starts in the village area and finishes on Abersoch's main beach, with live music, professional commentary and a beach bar at the finish area. The race is part of the Abersoch Triple Crown series, which combines times from the 10K, triathlon and half marathon for an overall leaderboard and additional awards.

- Distance: 10K The event is capped at 1,200 entrants and typically sells out in advance. It is affiliated to the Welsh Athletics Association and entrants must abide by Welsh Athletics rules.
ChronoChip bibtag timing is used for accurate results. Drink provision is available at 5 km and at the finish, offering an isotonic energy drink or water. All finishers receive a zinc alloy medal with a bespoke lanyard and recovery food and drink.
Course management includes clear kilometre and direction signs, marshals, professional traffic management and medic support. A prize purse of £1,000 is offered, together with product prizes from sponsors. Large spectator numbers line the village streets and the beach finish area.
