Abergele 5K & 10K
Abergele 5K & 10K is held on the Abergele Pensarn promenade on the North Wales coast, using a flat, fast course designed to help runners achieve personal bests. The event offers two distances and an option to complete both races on the same day.

Race headquarters and enquiries are located next to the start/finish on the promenade (Sat Nav LL22 7PQ). Number and chip pick up is at race HQ. Route maps are provided for both distances. Free parking is available next to the promenade. Public toilets and additional portaloos will be on site; there are no changing facilities.
Drink stations are provided approximately every three miles and at the finish; runners who need more water are advised to bring a bottle. First aid cover is provided by a professional medical team with stations at the start, finish and on course. If a runner retires they should notify the nearest marshal and return their timing chip to race HQ where possible.
All finishers receive a technical T-shirt and a bespoke medal. Double entrants receive a double medal and a technical T-shirt; the double entry is offered at a discounted price. Prize categories include overall male and female 1st to 3rd and first in each age category.
Headphones are not permitted except bone conducting types in line with UK Athletics Rule 240 S 5. Runners must respect local residents and use designated litter points; deliberate littering outside water stops may lead to disqualification. The event does not require road closures.
