Logistics, facilities and rules
Race headquarters and the start/finish are located on the promenade; numbers and timing chips are collected at race HQ. There is free parking adjacent to the start/finish. A public toilet block and additional portaloos will be available; no changing facilities are provided. Baggage can be left in a supervised area but valuables should not be left.
Drink stations are provided at approximately every 3 miles and at the finish; runners needing more fluid are advised to bring their own bottle. First aid cover is provided by a professional medical team with stations at the start, finish and on course; runners are asked to complete medical details on their race number. Headphones are not permitted except bone-conducting types. Littering outside water stations or marshal areas may lead to disqualification. Runners should be able to maintain roughly a 12-15 minute per mile pace; slower runners may be directed to use pavements and obey the highway code. Results will be published online later the same day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
