Abergele 5K & 10K - Abergele Pensarn Promenade
Abergele 5K & 10K is a seaside running event on Abergele/Pensarn promenade in North Wales, scheduled for 18 October 2026. The course is described as flat and fast and has been designed to help runners chase personal bests. A same-day double option is available for participants who wish to run both distances.

Race headquarters and enquiries are located next to the start/finish on the promenade. Number and chip collection is from race HQ. There is free parking adjacent to the start/finish. A public toilet block is near the start and additional portaloos will be provided; there are no dedicated changing facilities.
Drink stations will be positioned at approximately every three miles and at the finish. First aid cover is provided by a professional medical team with stations at the start, finish and on course; runners are asked to complete medical details on the back of their race number. If a runner retires they should notify the nearest marshal and return their timing chip to race HQ when possible.
All finishers receive a technical T-shirt and a bespoke medal. Double entrants receive a medal and technical T-shirt with a ribbon indicating completion of both races. Prizes are awarded for male and female overall places and age-category winners. There are no road closures required for the event. Headphones are not permitted except bone-conducting types. Runners are expected to keep a pace around 12–15 minutes per mile; slower runners may be directed to use pavements and obey all traffic signals.
