Abbott Kilkenny Charity Run and Family Day
The Abbott Festival of Running in Kilkenny is a community charity event on 15 August 2026 held at Abbott, IDA Ireland Kilkenny Business & Technology Park, Ring Road, Kilkenny, R95 A02A. The event is organised in partnership with Kilkenny City Harriers and will raise funds for Cois Nore and the Kilkenny City Harriers High Performance Athlete Programme. Parking is available at Kilkenny Retail & Business Park and Danville Business Park.
The programme includes multiple distance options:
- 1.2 km family stroll around Abbott's external walking track
- 5 km run
- 10 km run
Event day features live music, face painting, games and activities, plus food and refreshments. Pre-registration is required for all events. Registered participants present their registration confirmation to collect a goodie bag, which includes an event T-shirt, a food voucher and other event items.
