Abbathon 5K & 10K Fun Run, Chepstow Racecourse
Abbathon is an ABBA themed 5 km and 10 km fun run taking place at Chepstow Racecourse on Saturday 26 September 2026. The event combines live tribute music and DJ sets with a timed running format and on course sound support. Runners may run, jog, walk or dance around the course through parkland at the racecourse.
The organiser provides a live ABBA tribute performance for at least 45 minutes before the race and music guides carrying speakers positioned along the route, although music coverage cannot be guaranteed for the entire course. All entries are chip timed with race bibs and official results supplied after the event. Professional photographers will take event photographs and the organiser states these will be available free on the event website within 72 hours.
Finishers receive a special edition medal inspired by ABBA elements and post race refreshments include fresh fruit. A limited edition Abbathon finisher T shirt is offered for an extra cost of £19.99. Entry pricing listed for the event is £29.99 for the 5 km and £31.99 for the 10 km.
