Event Information

The 9runrun - Ottawa event will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Village Square Park on Abbott Street East in Stittsville, Ontario. It is a running and walking event in support of the Ottawa First Responders Foundation. Funds raised are directed towards supporting the mental health of Ottawa Fire, Police, and Paramedic personnel and their families.

Available Distances

Several distances are offered, with separate registrations for adults and youth (24 and under):

5 km
10 km
15 km (a challenge combining the 5 km and 10 km courses)
2 km (family fun run)

Registration for the timed races (5 km, 10 km, and 15 km) includes a personalized race bib, a finisher's medal, and professional race timing. The "Green Bib" option provides additional support to the foundation but does not include a medal or race t-shirt unless purchased separately.

The 2 km family fun run is untimed and open to all family members and friends. All participants on the course must be registered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
