9Runrun - Ottawa
The 9Runrun event takes place at Village Square Park, located on Abbott Street East in the Stittsville area of Ottawa. This athletic event serves as a fundraiser for the Ottawa First Responders Foundation. Proceeds from registrations and donations support mental health services for Ottawa Fire, Police, and Paramedic personnel and their families.
Participants can choose to run or walk in the following categories:
- 15 km Challenge (combined 5 km and 10 km)
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 2 km Family Fun Run
Registration for the 5 km, 10 km, and 15 km events includes professional race timing, a personalized race bib, and a finisher's medal. A "Green Bib" option is also available for the 5 km and 10 km distances. This option excludes the medal and t-shirt, directing a portion of the registration fee specifically to the Ottawa First Responders Foundation.
