2026 Hintonburg 5K and 1K
The 18th annual Hintonburg 5K and 1K takes place at Parkdale Park in Ottawa. The event is organized by the Hintonburg Community Association and features road races through the Hintonburg neighbourhood.
Distances offered
- 5K for ages 13 and up
- 5K for ages 12 and under
- 1K free for kids 12 and under
Registration fees listed include CA$44.73 for the adult 5K and CA$23.07 for the youth 5K; the 1K is free for children 12 and under. A commemorative t-shirt is available for early registrants in the 5K while quantities last. Donations accepted during registration support free sports programming for neighbourhood children.
Professional race timing is provided by SportsStats. Awards are given to first place finishers in the 5K and 1K. On-course water stations and post-race refreshments are provided. Locally donated prize draws are held for participants. Strollers and dogs are permitted on the course with appropriate caution.
