Meech Lake Triathlon

The Meech Lake Triathlon takes place at O’Brien Beach in Chelsea, Quebec. The event is sold out and a waitlist is available through the organizer. The race is limited to 300 participants and participants must be at least 16 years old. The event also serves as a fundraiser for the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. Registration included race items such as a personalized bib, a swim cap, a virtual bike fit, professional timing, on-course nutrition, race photography, podium prizes for the top three male, female, and non-binary finishers, and post-race snacks.

The swim takes place in Meech Lake. The bike course includes hills through Gatineau Park. The run course goes through the National Park. Athletes must complete the race within a three-hour cut-off. Logistics and deadlines

Parking is available at P8 or P9, with transition set-up at P11. Bib pickup is scheduled the day before at Sports4 on Bank Street and on race morning at P9 in Gatineau Park. Deadlines listed by the organizer include a shirt deadline on May 29 and a medal add-on deadline on June 11. The online registration deadline was listed as July 7 or until the event sold out.
