Event overview

The Meech Lake Triathlon is a one-day triathlon held at O’Brien Beach in Chelsea, Quebec on Saturday, July 11, 2026. The event is currently sold out and entry is limited to 300 participants. The race format listed is a swim of 1200 m, a bike of 27 km, and a run of 6.4 km. Participants must be at least 16 years old. There is a total race cut-off of three hours.

Logistics and race services

Parking is available at P8 and P9 in Gatineau Park; athletes are instructed to set up run gear near the finish area and then ride to P11 to set up transition 1. Bib pickup is offered the day before at Full Cycle Hintonburg and on race day at P9 in Gatineau Park. Registration includes a virtual bike fit, a personalized race bib, a swim cap, professional timing, on-course nutrition, race photography, podium prizes for the top three male, female, and non-binary finishers, and post-race snacks. A finisher medal and event shirt are optional add-ons with separate order deadlines. Strava route files are provided for the swim, T1, bike, and run segments.
