Meech Lake Triathlon
The Meech Lake Triathlon takes place at O’Brien Beach in Chelsea QC, within the Gatineau Park area. The race dates back to 1983 and has been held as a memorial triathlon since 2007.
The event offers standard triathlon race options covering swim, bike and run disciplines. Parking is available at P9 or P8; participants then proceed to the finish area to set up run gear and to P11 to set up the first transition area.
Included with registration are professional timing, a personalized race bib, a swim cap, a free virtual bike fit, on-course nutrition, race photography, podium prizes for top finishers, and post-race snacks. The field is limited to 300 participants and the minimum participant age is 16. Refunds are allowed only if cancellation insurance was purchased.
Organizers provide a pre-race newsletter, a virtual orientation video and an athlete handbook. Strava route files are published for the swim, bike, run and transition to view course direction and elevation. The event is currently sold out.
