About the race
Meech Lake Triathlon, presented as the Mike Collingwood Memorial Triathlon, takes place at O’Brien Beach in Chelsea, QC on Saturday, July 10, 2027. The event is sold out and registration is capped at 300 participants. The race is limited to athletes aged 16 and older and has a total time cut off of three hours.
The event traces its origins to 1983 and was renamed in 2007 to honor Mike Collingwood. Course notes highlight calm, clear water for the swim, hilly sections through Gatineau Park on the bike, and a scenic run route through the National Park.
