Meech Lake Triathlon at O'Brien Beach, Chelsea
The Meech Lake Triathlon takes place at O'Brien Beach in Gatineau Park on Saturday, July 11, 2026. The event has a long local history and is presented as a memorial edition in honor of a long‑time organizer.
Registration for this edition is sold out and a waitlist is maintained. The race is capped at 300 participants and athletes must be at least 16 years old. A three hour cut off applies to finishers.
Included with registration are a personalized race bib, a swim cap from the event supplier, a free virtual bike fit, professional timing, on-course nutrition, race photography, post-race snacks and podium prizes for the top three male, female and non-binary finishers.
Event logistics note nearby parking options (P8 and P9) and a transition set up area (P11). Bib pickup is available the day before at a local bike shop and on race morning at the park gathering point. Course files and orientation materials are provided by the organizer for participants seeking route and elevation details.
