Murray Youth & Family Triathlon
The Murray Youth & Family Triathlon is an annual event held in Murray Park, Murray, UT. It is presented as a Labor Day tradition and includes multiple race categories held at the park facility near the pool and Park Center.
Registration is accepted online. An early-price window ends on August 28, with the early fee set at $30 per individual entrant and $55 per relay. Families with more than three members who wish to participate are asked to contact the race director for arrangement.
Race categories include an adult race, a youth race for athletes aged 11 and older, and a physically challenged race. Swim staging takes place on the grass on the south side of the pool building. The long-course swim distance is 150 yards. The event adds women’s specific t-shirts this year and includes a post-race raffle with prizes for both youth and adult participants. Organizers note limited shirt stock; registrants after August 31 may need to wait for shirt pickup pending reorders.
Packet pick-up is staged in front of the Park Center on the Sunday night and Monday morning before the event, and a briefing for participants takes place the evening before.
