9/11 Heroes Run - Huntington, New York
The 9/11 Heroes Run takes place on September 12, 2026, at Mill Dam Park in Halesite, New York. The event brings together runners, ruckers, and walkers to honor the heroes of 9/11 and those who have served since, and to support veterans, active duty personnel, first responders, and families of the fallen.

Listed registration fees are $36.00 for the 5K run, $41.00 for the 5K ruck, $21.00 for the 1 mile run or walk, and no fee for volunteers.
The event organizer partners with GORUCK to offer rucking divisions at this run. Rucking involves walking or running while carrying a weighted rucksack and reflects training used by special forces.
