Kids Need More 5K Run/Walk & Kids Fun Run : Belmont Lake State Park

The event supports children and families affected by serious illness and cancer. Funds help create camp experiences and social opportunities for those families. Fundraising and team options are available as part of the event structure.
Awards are given for overall and age-group placings in the 5K, and for the kids run. The top male and top female finishers in the 5K will each direct a $1,000 donation to a qualified 501(c)(3) organization, a public institution, or New York State’s 529 college savings program; registered participants are eligible for these awards. Age-group awards include top three male and female finishers across standard age brackets.
Event amenities and logistics listed by the organizer include race T-shirts for participants registered by August 16, medals for all Kids Fun Run finishers, post-race bagels, live/text/email results, free finish-line photos, and personalized bibs for registrations completed three weeks in advance.
