About the race
Inclusion In Motion is a six-hour endurance event at Heckscher State Park in East Islip, NY, designed to celebrate inclusion for athletes of all abilities. Participants can run solo or with a team, push an adaptive athlete, or be pushed as an athlete, completing as many 3.1-mile loops as possible—up to 26.2 miles (8 loops). A shorter option is the all-abilities 100-meter dash.
The event runs rain or shine and includes opening ceremonies and family-friendly amenities such as accessible tents, live results, and free finish-line photos. Proceeds benefit The Run To Breakthrough, funding medical equipment, services, and home modifications not covered by insurance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
