9 Locks 10k Summer Challenge

Held on Sunday, 30 May 2027, the 9 Locks 10k Summer Challenge is a point to point race that follows the historic Stourbridge Canal. Organised by StuWEB Race Timing in partnership with OP Events, the route starts at the Bonded Warehouse (DY8 4LU) and finishes at the Waterfront in Brierley Hill (DY5 1XD).

The course covers 10 km of canal side running with a hint of trail and a continual incline. The route includes the climb of the nine Delph Locks near the end and features a King of the Hill competition. The event is chip timed and uses seeded start times.

Race extras listed by the organiser include goody bags, a medal, prizes, free parking and coach transfer, and a social atmosphere described as supportive and festival like. Standard entry for the timed 10 km is listed at £30.00 plus a £1.50 fee; entry for the timed event closes on 27 May 2027 at 12:00.
