9 Locks 10k Summer Challenge

The 9 Locks 10k Summer Challenge is a point to point race held on Sunday, 30th May, 2027. The course follows the Stourbridge Canal from the Bonded Warehouse (postcode DY8 4LU) to the Waterfront in Brierley Hill (postcode DY5 1XD). The route is canal-side with sections that include a hint of trail and a continual incline, finishing with the climb of the nine Delph Locks near the end of the course.

The event is organised by StuWEB Race Timing in partnership with OP Events. Race features include seeded start times, chip timing with a King of the Hill competition, goody bags, medals and prizes. Parking and a coach transfer are provided without charge. The atmosphere is described as social and festival-like. Entry for the main running event is listed at £30.00 plus a £1.50 fee and entry closes on 27th May 2027.
