9 Locks 10k Summer Challenge : 31 May 2026
The 9 Locks 10k Summer Challenge is a point to point road and trail event along the Stourbridge Canal, held on 31 May 2026. The course runs from the Bonded Warehouse (DY8 4LU) to the Waterfront in Brierley Hill (DY5 1XD). The route follows canal towpaths with some trail sections and includes a continual incline, ending with the ascent of the nine Delph Locks.
The event covers 10 km and uses seeded start times with chip timing. A King of the Hill element is included in the chip timing. Race services listed for participants include goody bags, a finisher medal, prizes and a supportive festival atmosphere near the finish.
Logistics provided for the event include free parking and coach transfer. Organisers are listed as StuWEB Race Timing in partnership with OP Events. Timing and race management are provided using electronic chips to record results.
