HYROX Birmingham - NEC, Birmingham

HYROX Birmingham takes place from 27 October to 1 November 2026 at the NEC in Marston Green, Birmingham. The event runs across six days and includes individual (Singles), Doubles and Relay divisions. A HYROX Youngstars race for athletes aged 8 to 15 is included in the programme.

The standard athlete package includes a finisher patch, individual finish time with split timings, and leaderboard posting during the event. Each division holds an age group award ceremony and certain age groups can qualify for World Championship slots. The venue provides aid stations before, during and after competition, a Thunderdome viewing area, an Entertainment Zone with partners, and opportunities to purchase professional photos.

On-site procedures require athlete registration for each division; registration opens on-site 90 minutes before the first start wave of that division. Competitors must bring a physical copy of ID and cannot check in on behalf of others. At registration athletes receive an athlete wristband, venue access wristband, ankle strap and timing chip, and a bib; all items are required to race. Some details such as lap counts, relay briefing and early registration timings are listed as TBC.

Ticketing options include Flex Lite and Flex Add-On choices. Name changes are permitted up to one day before an athlete’s race via the HYROX account by 7:59 AM event timezone. Flex Add-On refunds are available up to 31 days before an athlete’s race at 100% and up to 7 days at 50%; charity tickets have specific rules. Transfers to other events or division changes are not offered and the Flex Add-On cannot be added after purchase.

Volunteer roles include judging stations, support at water stations and registration, spectator services, merchandise and broader event operations. The event also lists Race for Impact charity entries with fundraising commitments of £400 for solo entries and £800 for double entries, and mentions a partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support.

Sportograf is the official photography partner; photos are available after the event and can be located using a selfie-based search system. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
