HYROX Birmingham
HYROX Birmingham takes place at the NEC in Marston Green, Birmingham (Pendigo Way, B40 1NT) from 27 October to 1 November 2026. The event spans six days and features multiple competition formats: Singles, Doubles (men, women, mixed), Relays (men’s, women’s, mixed), Adaptive divisions, and Pro categories, including Pro Doubles. HYROX Youngstars races for athletes aged 8 to 15 are scheduled alongside the main event.
Athlete registration requires presentation of a physical form of ID and must be completed on the day an athlete competes; checking in on behalf of others is not permitted. At registration athletes receive an athlete wristband, a venue access wristband, an ankle strap with timing chip, and a bib number; all items are required to compete. Some logistical details remain to be confirmed, including laps to run, relay briefing, and early registration dates and times.
Event services and onsite features include aid stations before, during and after the course, a Thunderdome viewing area, an Entertainment Zone with partners, opportunities to purchase professional photos, and split timing with results posted to the leaderboard as athletes compete. Certain age groups may earn qualification slots for the World Championships. Charity entries are offered via Race for Impact with set fundraising commitments and Macmillan Cancer Support is listed as a charity partner.
Two purchase protection options are available. Flex Lite permits name changes up to one day before an athlete’s race and offers no refunds. The Flex Add-On allows name changes up to one day before an athlete’s race, offers a 100 percent refund up to 31 days before race day and a 50 percent refund up to 7 days before race day, and cannot be added after initial purchase. Transfers to other events or division changes are not available.
