Birmingham Running Festival November 2026
The Birmingham Running Festival takes place within the historic grounds of Sutton Park in the Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield. The event utilizes a mix of road and gravel paths throughout the park and serves as a fundraising effort for the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.
Participants can choose from several distances:
- Half Marathon: Includes an elevation gain of 306m and a three-hour time limit.
- 10 km: Features an elevation gain of 144m and a 90-minute time limit.
- 5 km: Covers an elevation gain of 72m.
- Junior Race: A shorter course with 14m of elevation gain.
All participants receive chip-timed results and free race photography. The event site includes a central event village providing various food and drink options alongside partner-provided items at the finish line. Marshals are positioned along the course to guide runners through the park's terrain.
The entry fee includes a unique themed medal and post-race refreshments. While technical t-shirts are not included in the standard entry to reduce overall costs and waste, they are available as an optional purchase. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
