8 Point Lake 5K
The 8 Point Lake 5K takes place on July 4, 2026 at 11120 Rock Road, Lake, MI, USA. The event includes a 5K run, a 5K walk, and a short Kids Fun Run. Participants of all ages may enter the run or walk categories.

- Kids Fun Run (about 50 yards; ages 10 and under)
The Kids Fun Run occurs immediately following the Flag Raising Ceremony on a short grass course near the baseball field. Age groups for the kids event are Ages 5 & Under and Ages 6–10. All participants in the kids run receive a finisher gift.
All 5K participants receive a finisher gift. A commemorative 8 Point Lake medal is available to the first 75 finishers who choose one at the finish line. Overall top Male and Female runners receive awards presented following the Flag Raising Ceremony.
Timing and registration notes: official times for the 5K are recorded using air horn time only; there is no start-line chip timing. Walkers compete on the honor system. To guarantee a race T-shirt with registration, orders must be placed by June 19th; registrations after that date may have shirts while supplies last and any extras may be available for purchase on race morning.
