Clare Irish Festival Road Race
The Clare Irish Festival Road Race takes place on March 14, 2026, in Clare, Michigan, as part of the town's 51st Irish Festival. The event is based at Clare High School (306 Schoolcrest St.). The start and finish are located in front of the high school and all timed events use chip timing for both the start and the finish.

Registration and fees: online registration closes March 11, 2026. Pre-registration by that date is listed at $25; the entry fee increases to $30 after that date. Mailed entries must be postmarked by March 7, 2026 to receive the $25 rate. Early packet pick-up and in-person registration are available the evening before the race at the Clare High School cafeteria; race day registration is available at the high school on the morning of the event.
Other details: T-shirts are limited to the first 400 registered participants. Each participant in the 5K, 10K, or 2 Mile Walk receives a pancake breakfast. A free Kid's Run of one half mile will be held the morning of the race; kids receive a t-shirt, medal, and a coupon for a free cookie. Changing facilities are available. No refunds will be issued. Dogs are not permitted; baby strollers are allowed but must start near the back. Medals are awarded to the top three in each age group; plaques are awarded for overall, masters, and youth winners. The 10K course remains the same; the final mile of the 5K and 2 Mile Walk has been revised to remove several hills. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
