The Clare Irish Festival Road Race takes place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, in Clare, Michigan. The event is part of the Clare Irish Festival (the festival’s 51st year) and uses Clare High School (306 Schoolcrest St.) as the start and finish location. Chip timing will be used for both the start and the finish. T-shirts are limited to the first 400 participants. Each participant in the listed events receives a pancake breakfast.

Logistics and awards
Online registration at the listed rate closes March 11, 2026; the entry fee for preregistration by that date is $25 and increases to $30 afterward. Mailed entries must be postmarked by March 7, 2026 to receive the $25 rate. Early packet pick-up and in-person registration are available the day before; race-day registration is also offered.
Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age group. Plaques will be awarded to overall top male and female finishers, top masters (age 50 and over), and top youth (age 14 and under). No awards are given for the 2 Mile Walk. Age groups range from 12 and under up to 80 and up. Changing facilities are available at the high school. No refunds are issued.
