Clare Irish Festival Road Race
The Clare Irish Festival Road Race takes place on March 13, 2027 at Clare High School, 306 Schoolcrest St, Clare, MI 48617. The event includes timed races and a walk, with chip timing used for both the start and the finish. T-shirts are limited to the first 400 registered participants, and each participant in the 5K, 10K, or 2 mile walk receives a pancake breakfast; extra breakfast tickets for non-participants are sold the morning of the event for $7 and breakfast service ends at 11:00am.

Online registration at the pre-registration rate of $25 closes March 10, 2027 at 11:59pm; the entry fee increases to $30 after that date. Mailed entries must be postmarked by March 6 to receive the $25 rate. Early packet pick-up and registration occur the evening before the race at the high school cafeteria, and on-site registration is available on race morning. No refunds are issued.
A free Kids Run of 1/2 mile will be held the same day with morning registration; children receive a t-shirt, medal, and goodie bag. Awards include medals for top three in each age group, plaques for overall and masters winners, and special medals for top finishers in the 2 mile walk. Course maps are provided for each distance. Changing facilities are available at the high school. Walkers in the 10K will not be timed. Participants may not bring dogs; strollers are allowed but must start near the back for safety.
