Freedom 5K Run/Walk in Memory of a Service Member
This event is the 15th annual timed 5K run and walk held in Harrison, Michigan, on 200 W. Main Street. It is presented in memory of a service member and in remembrance of all who have given the ultimate sacrifice. The course is officially timed and covers approximately 3.1 miles.
Registration information includes an opening date of October 30, 2026 and a closing date of April 2, 2027. The listed registration fee is $30. Proceeds from the event will go to Veterans Freedom Park. Sweatshirts are available by pre-order only and other event merchandise or packet contents may be limited for late registrations.
The race has been held historically on the last Saturday of April to coincide with the anniversary associated with the memorial. The organizer notes that late registrations may not include a t-shirt or goodie bag and that order-only items will not be available on the day of the event.
