Event overview
The 8 Maids a Milking is part of a 12 Days of Christmas race series and is scheduled for 14th December 2025. The event takes place at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words: physical.growth.shelf). The course is off-road and runs entirely within the manor grounds. Each lap measures 2.5 km and includes a hill plus a series of ups and downs through two vineyards. Participants have a seven hour time limit to complete their chosen distance. Distances, entry and race procedures
Participants choose from the following distances:
- 5k (2 laps)
- 10k
- Half Marathon
- Marathon
- Ultra
Entry fees are listed as non-refundable. Published prices include Race Entry £29.00, Virtual UK Entry £25.00, and Virtual Overseas Entry £39.00. A charity entry option is offered for £10.00 with a requirement to raise a minimum of twice the entry fee value for the nominated charity and to raise funds at least four weeks before the event. Entrants must be aged 18 or over. Race bibs are collected at registration; virtual bibs are emailed after entry. Virtual medal issuance requires a paid entry, run verification, and may incur additional postage costs for overseas delivery.
