Apocalypse 11 Mile Trail Run & Cani-Cross
The event is an 11 mile trail run on the edge of the Cotswolds, starting from Stonehouse Town FC in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire (GL10 2DG). The date is 7 November 2027.
The route begins with a one mile climb from the start, then continues with about nine miles of undulating trails and several steep sections. The course passes the Topograph and Haresfield Beacon, and goes by the Cromwell Stones and Well. Water stations are located at 3.5 miles, 7 miles and at the finish.
The second mile of the route is on tarmac; the remainder is muddy trails, so trail shoes are recommended. There is a canicross category alongside the trail run, and every runner and dog receive a bespoke medal. The top three finishers receive trophies.
Suggested parking is in and around the Stonehouse residential area, or participants can arrive by train to Stonehouse station and walk to the start at Stonehouse Town FC. Toilets, coffee and food are available inside the stadium before and after the event.
