704 Blue Run - Olathe, KS
The 704 Blue Run is an annual memorial event held in Olathe on April 18, 2026. The run commemorates the service of Olathe Police Department members who have died in the line of duty, including an officer identified by radio number 704 and a later sergeant who is also remembered by the community.
The event takes place on the Indian Creek paved trails and offers two distance options:
- 7.04 mile run
- 5K run/walk
Participants are chip timed, receive a performance style t-shirt, and can view results online. The event is hosted by the Olathe Police Foundation to raise funds for college scholarships for Olathe Police Department families.

- Race location and packet pickup are at College Church of the Nazarene, 2020 E Sheridan St, Olathe, KS 66062.
- Packet pickup is scheduled on the day before the race, Friday April 17, from noon to 6pm; race day packet pickup is also available.
- Event parking is accessed from 143rd and Lindenwood via the second entryway into the parking lot.
- Registration fees vary by distance and increase after March 29; registrations received after that date are not guaranteed a t-shirt.
