Germantown Trail Races
The Germantown Trail Races are held at Germantown MetroPark, with the Morning Glory Shelter listed as the race facility. The park contains areas of old-growth forest, water-carved ravines, prairies and meadows, and the Twin Creek corridor, which the courses traverse.
Distances offered include:
- 13.1 Miles
- 10K
- 5K
- 20K Relay
- 6 Hours of Power
The 20K Relay is structured as four 5K loops. Teams consist of between two and four participants, each participant must run at least one loop, and participants register separately.
Parking and facilities at the start and finish area include free parking, a shelter for shade or rain protection, and vault-style restrooms. Additional flush restrooms are available at the nearby visitor center.
Participants receive a custom race bib, a custom medal, a custom race sticker, Hammer Nutrition gel or fiz, aid station support, a marked course, official timing, and snacks and refreshments at the start and finish area.
