The 6 Geese a-laying Run
The 6 Geese a-laying Run is one day in a 12 Days of Christmas race series held at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words: physical.growth.shelf). The event is organised as an offroad looped course inside the manor grounds with a series of ups and downs through two vineyards and a hill repeated on each lap. Each lap measures 2.5 km.
Participants choose their target distance from the following options:
- 5k (two laps)
- 10k
- Half Marathon
- Marathon
- Ultra
A 7 hour overall time limit applies to the chosen distance. The course is described as tough and is open to walkers and runners. Race bibs are collected at on-site registration; virtual entrants receive a personalised virtual bib by email before the event date. Medals are issued for each day of the series; virtual medals are the same as race medals and are posted after verification, with an extra postage charge for international delivery.
Entry fees are stated for race and virtual categories. Entries and payments are non refundable. A charity entry option is available at a reduced entry fee when a minimum fundraising commitment is met. Entrants must be aged 18 or over and are responsible for their fitness, safety, and compliance with event rules and terms. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
