6 Geese a-laying Run
The 6 Geese a-laying Run is one day in a 12 Days of Christmas race series held at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye. Entrants choose a target distance and must complete it within a seven hour time limit. Each lap of the course measures 2.5 km and the offroad route lies entirely within the manor grounds. The route includes a hill on every lap and a series of ups and downs through two vineyards.
The event offers both in person and virtual participation. Race bibs are collected at on site registration; virtual entrants receive a personalised virtual bib by email. Virtual runs can be recorded for the official results and verified virtual medals will be posted after confirmation, with additional postage costs for international addresses.
Entry fees are published for standard and virtual entries. All deposits and payments are non refundable. A charity entry option is available where an entry at a reduced fee is conditional on meeting a minimum fundraising requirement and completing the necessary sponsorship within a specified timeframe.
Entrants must be aged 18 or over and are responsible for their fitness and preparedness to complete the course safely. Route signage is limited and competitors remain responsible for staying on course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
