5K Run Walk, A Touch of Love Works
The event takes place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Lake Forest Sports Park in Lake Forest, CA. It is a fundraising 5K run and walk organized by A Touch of Love Works to support outreach for people experiencing homelessness. Event options include:

Strollers and dogs are allowed.
Course, logistics and registration
The course is flat, paved and accessible, with no street or parking lot crossings. The route is three laps inside Lake Forest Sports Park for a total distance of 5K (3.1 miles); a single lap is 1.67K. The start area is at the large arch near the outdoor basketball courts. The registration station is located within walking distance of the main entrance to the park recreation office. Multiple restrooms are available in the park. The course will be marked with flags and directional signs. Volunteers will provide cups of water, and a first aid station is located at the recreation office.
Registered participants receive a T-shirt, a visible bib (runner and walker bibs use different colors) and a participant medallion with ribbon. Awards (gold, silver, bronze medals) will be given to the top three men and top three women in both the run and the walk.
