Course Details

The course is 5K long and is contained within the Lake Forest Sports Park. It is described as flat, paved, and accessible, with no street or parking lot crossings. The route consists of three laps within the park, with one lap being approximately 1.67K (about one mile). The start and finish line is at a large colorful arch near the outdoor basketball courts.

Event Features

Strollers are welcome and dogs are allowed on the course. The event will have a registration station, route marking flags, directional signage, and volunteers to provide water and route information. Multiple restrooms are available throughout the park, and a first aid station is located in the Sports Park recreation office.

Registration & Awards

Registration is available online. Early bird registration is $40, and regular registration is $50. On-site registration is also available in the days before the event at the park. All registered participants are eligible to receive a T-shirt and a participant's medallion with a ribbon. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in both the run and walk categories, consisting of gold, silver, and bronze medals with ribbons.
