5 Peaks Whistler Blackcomb
The event takes place on Blackcomb Mountain with gondola access from Whistler Mountain and a crossing via the Peak to Peak Gondola. Courses traverse alpine meadows, pass alpine lakes and go over boulder fields, offering wide panoramic views.
Available distances:
- Kid's Run 1 km
- Kid's Run 3 km
- Sport Run or Hike 7 km
- Enduro Run or Hike 11 km
- Grit Run 12.5 km
A non competitive hiking division is offered for participants who plan to hike the full Sport or Enduro courses. This division is led by two pace leaders, does not allow running and does not include a podium, though hikers are entered into prize draws and on-site activities. Estimated finish times are about 2 hours for the Sport course and 3 hours for the Enduro.
Gondola tickets are not included with event registration; a limited number of discounted gondola tickets are available for separate purchase through the registration platform. The event is cup free; water and an electrolyte beverage are available at the start, finish and at one or more aid stations. The on-course electrolyte beverage is Blonyx Hydra Plus, made with real food ingredients. Optional swag and finisher medals can be pre-purchased or obtained on site while supplies last and must be picked up at the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
