The 5 Golden Rings Run
The 5 Golden Rings Run is one day in a 12 Days of Christmas race series held at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words: physical.growth.shelf). Entrants choose one distance from the list below and must complete their chosen distance within a seven hour time limit.
- 5k (2 laps)
- 10k
- Half Marathon
- Marathon
- Ultra
The course is offroad and runs entirely within the Pengethley Manor grounds. Each lap is 2.5k and the route includes a hill plus a series of up and down sections through two vineyards. The event is open to walkers and runners. Race bibs are collected at on-site registration; virtual entrants receive a personalised virtual bib by email.
Virtual participation is possible anywhere in the world and entries are given date flexibility. Paid virtual entries receive the same type of medal as on-site finishers after run verification; there is also a free virtual option that will be recorded on the results list but does not include a medal. Entry fees are published for different entry types, and deposits and payments are non refundable. There is a charity entry option at a reduced fee that requires committing to raise at least twice the entry fee and meeting the fundraising deadline.
Entrants must be aged 18 or over, register their details accurately, and accept the organiser's terms and conditions. Participants are responsible for their fitness and safety on the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
