About the race
The Last Tri Lydney is a pool based triathlon held at Freedom Leisure Lydney on Church Road in Lydney, Gloucestershire (GL15 5DZ). The event uses an indoor heated pool, a secure transition area, and a scenic bike route. Finishers receive a medal and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies are awarded for both male and female competitors in each distance.
Two individual race distances are offered:
- 400m swim / 20k bike / 5k run
- 800m swim / 40k bike / 10k run
Participants must register and rack their bikes according to the event instructions. A poolside race briefing is held when race chips are issued. Swim start times, plus the bike and run routes, are provided to competitors before the event. Free parking is available at Freedom Leisure Church Road, Lydney.
Entry categories listed include an age group open Sprint entry and an Olympic distance entry that is BTF affiliated. Entry fees shown are GBP 50 for the sprint and GBP 70 for the Olympic distance.
