The Last Tri Lydney
The Last Tri Lydney is a triathlon held at Freedom Leisure Lydney (Lydney Leisure Centre), Church Road, Lydney, Gloucestershire GL15 5DZ. The event uses an indoor heated pool and provides a secure transition area and a scenic bike route. All finishers receive a medal.
Two race distance options are offered:
- Sprint: 400m pool swim, 23k bike, 5k run
- Olympic: 750m swim, 40k bike, 10k run
Trophies are awarded for first, second and third place in both male and female categories for each distance. Participants register on the morning of the event and must register before racking a bike. A poolside race briefing is held when race chips are issued and participants are expected to be on poolside before their swim slot. Bike and run route information and swim start times are provided to participants in advance.
