Event details
The Apperley Quarter Marathon is scheduled for 04 Oct 2025 at Apperley Cricket Club, School Lane, Apperley GL19 4ED. The event has a total of 430 places and its entry status is listed as open. Standard event features include cakes, craft medals, golden tickets, a countryside counter and passing historic churchyards. Fancy dress, flowers and bees are encouraged. A short children’s event, the Kiddython, is planned; the distance is approximately 1 km and entry details will be provided separately. Charity and community
The event raises funds for the Cotswold Dialysis Unit in Gloucester and for three local community organisations: the host cricket club, Deerhurst Playing Fields and the local primary school. The primary school’s pupils contribute by making directional signs. The event notes support from sponsors, including J Lawry Healthcare, as well as many volunteers and supportive landowners.
