Event overview
The 4 Calling Birds Run takes place on 10 December 2025 at Pengethley Manor, Ross-on-Wye (what3words: physical.growth.shelf). Entrants choose from the following distances:
- 5k (2 laps)
- 10k
- Half Marathon
- Marathon
- Ultra
Participants have a 7-hour time limit to complete their chosen distance. Each lap on the course measures 2.5 km. The route is off-road, runs entirely within the grounds of Pengethley Manor, and includes a hill on each lap plus a series of ups and downs through two vineyards. The event is open to walkers and runners; entrants must be aged 18 or over.
Entries, medals and practical information
Entry fees listed in the source are: Race Entry £29.00, Virtual UK Entry £25.00, Virtual Overseas Entry £39.00. All event fees are non refundable. A charity entry option is available for £10.00; this requires raising at least twice the entry fee value for the nominated charity and completing the fundraising at least four weeks before the event. Paid entrants collect race bibs at registration; virtual entrants receive a personalised virtual bib by email. Medals are issued to paid entrants for both in-person and virtual confirmed runs; international postage costs may apply. A deferral option to the next edition is offered for £15 up to four weeks before the event. Personal cancellation insurance is available through a third-party provider.
