2K Glow Run/Walk - Glen Ellyn
The event is a nighttime fun run and walk held at Lake Ellyn Park on Friday, September 11, 2026. The course covers 1.25-mile and features light-up color stations along the route. A DJ hosts a glow party with music both before and after the run.
The fee covers a t-shirt, glow sticks, and access to pre- and post-event activities. The event is open to participants ages 4 and up. Registration is offered with resident and nonresident pricing listed as $30 and $42 respectively.
The 2K Glow Run/Walk is presented in collaboration with the Glow in the Park Lantern Walk at Lake Ellyn Park, which includes inflatables, live music, face paint, food, and other family-oriented activities. Outdoor events are subject to weather-related cancellation.
Event capacity may be limited and a waiting list may be used if the event fills. Photos and video are periodically taken during Park District events; by participating, attendees grant the District permission to use those images and recordings for District publications and promotional materials without additional notice or compensation.
