2K Glow Run/Walk - Glen Ellyn
The 2K Glow Run/Walk at Lake Ellyn Park is a 1.25-mile nighttime run and walk with light-up color stations along the course. Before and after the run there is a glow party with a DJ and event activities on site.
Registration includes a t-shirt, glow sticks, and access to pre- and post-event activities. Additional information will be emailed to registered participants. Participants may wear white or neon clothing to increase visibility under the glow elements. The event is open to ages 4 and up. Location: Lake Ellyn Park, 645 Lenox Road. Resident and nonresident registration fees are $30 and $42 respectively.
This event is presented in collaboration with the Glow in the Park Lantern Walk at Lake Ellyn Park, which features inflatables, live music, face paint, food, and other family activities. The run takes place outdoors and may be canceled in case of rain or other unfavorable conditions. Photos and video footage are periodically taken during Park District events; by registering participants authorize the District to use such images for promotional purposes without additional notice or compensation.
