5k Fun Run x Sketchbook Brewing Co : Skokie, IL
This event is part of the 2026 Illinois Brewery Running Series and takes place at Sketchbook Brewing Co in Skokie on July 26, 2026. The run starts and finishes at the brewery taproom and follows a clearly marked route through the surrounding neighborhood.
The event is untimed and held on an open course where roads remain open to traffic; participants must follow all traffic laws. Registration includes one craft brew at the finish, a choice of Brewery Running Series swag (collector’s pint glass or a seasonal item), entry into a prize drawing, and access to post-run music, games, giveaways and partner items. Ten percent of proceeds support local nonprofits.
Additional event details state there is no bag check, dogs and strollers are allowed with care, and participants should bring a valid ID; those under 21 are eligible for a nonalcoholic beverage instead of beer. The event proceeds rain or shine; if running is unsafe, the gathering at the brewery will continue. Refunds are available up to seven days before the event.
