24HR "The Grind"

24HR "The Grind" is a 24 hour loop race held in Perris, California on January 29, 2027. The event offers both individual and four-person team entries and takes place at the Group Picnic C / campground area near 17801 Lake Perris Drive.

The course is built around the Molcajete 1.0 loop, described as a loop of about 4 miles with repeated climbs that runners will complete as many times as they choose within 24 hours. Organizers note a possible future course that would keep a similar amount of climbing while increasing loop length to around 7 miles.

Team entries consist of four runners in any combination of sexes. Each team member is assigned a number from 1 to 4 and must run in that exact order for each rotation; the team captain registers all members under a single registration. Awards will be given to the top three individuals in men and women categories and to the top three teams.

Registration details published for the event include a price range from USD 269.75 to USD 855.50. Discounted registration rates end on September 25, 2026. Registration closes January 2, 2027 and registrants who register by December 24, 2026 are noted to be eligible to receive a medal or buckle and a participant shirt.
