1in5k Dyslexia Dash - Freestone District Park
The 1in5k Dyslexia Dash is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Freestone District Park in Gilbert, Arizona. The event focuses on dyslexia awareness and fundraising in support of IDA Arizona and promotes Structured Literacy.
The event is managed by StartLine Racing and includes in-person and virtual participation options. A virtual race option is available; virtual packets are mailed the week after the event and virtual registrations are restricted to US addresses. Mail-in registration is also accepted.

All participants receive a custom finisher's medal and a custom dri-fit tech t-shirt, with an option to decline the shirt for a discount. The 5K features male and female age group awards for the top three finishers in standard age brackets. Chip timing, real-time results, and race photos are provided.
Race day packet pickup and registration take place at Freestone Park. Wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons are welcome with the requirement to start at the back of the field. Leashed pets are allowed on course. Bicycles, roller blades, skateboards, and motorized devices are not permitted. The event proceeds rain or shine; there are no weather refunds.
