The 1in5K Dyslexia Dash takes place on September 26, 2026, at Freestone District Park in Gilbert, Arizona. The event is organized by IDA Arizona and managed by StartLine Racing. It brings together in-person and virtual participants to raise funds and awareness for dyslexia and Structured Literacy.
The event format includes multiple participation options and family-friendly accommodations. Wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons are welcome with the requirement that those participants start at the back of the pack. Leashed pets are allowed. Bicycles, roller blades, skateboards, and motorized devices are not permitted on the courses. The event occurs rain or shine and there are no refunds for weather-related cancellations.

All participants receive a custom finisher's medal and a custom dri-fit tech t-shirt, with a $5 discount available for choosing no shirt. The 5K offers male and female age-group awards for the top three finishers across standard age categories. Race services include chip timing with real-time results and participant photos. Day-of registration is available at Freestone Park at higher fees than pre-registration.
