14er Challenge 2026 - Buena Vista, Colorado
The 14er Challenge is a multi-day hiking event organized by Girls on the Run of the Rockies, held July 23 to July 25, 2026 on private property near Buena Vista, Colorado. The event lists a hike distance of 25 Miles and is limited to 40 climbers.
The program uses a private ranch basecamp that borders Mt. Princeton's Chalk Cliffs. The planned itinerary names Mt. Princeton for Day 1 and Mt. Antero for Day 2. Registration requires a fee of $249 and a fundraising commitment with a minimum goal of $2,500 per registered climber. Home councils receive 40 percent of a climber's total fundraising, with a guaranteed minimum of $1,000 to the home council.
Included in the registration fee are basecamp access, private camping at the base of both peaks, shuttle transport to and from trailheads, meals and daypack snacks, evening entertainment, portable toilets, training plans and support, fundraising support and incentives, and exclusive climber swag and partner offers.
