Resolution Run/Walk
The Resolution Run/Walk is an endurance event held at Bridgeway Station in Simpsonville, South Carolina. Participants navigate a 2-mile loop throughout the duration of the event. The format is flexible, allowing individuals to run, walk, or roll for their chosen time frame.
The event offers three distinct time-based categories:
- 3 Hour
- 6 Hour
- 9 Hour
The race utilizes a self-timed system focused on personal progress. Participants are encouraged to bring a unique mug to the event. For every lap completed, a stone is added to the mug to track distance. At the conclusion of the time limit, the total number of stones is recorded.
The course passes through the Bridgeway Station area, which includes the City Market, coffee shops, and food vendors. A designated aid station is located on the loop, providing snacks such as pickles, cookies, chips, candy, and pretzels. Hydration options include water, ginger ale, and cola. This is a cup-less event, requiring participants to bring their own hydration vessels. Participants are also invited to contribute leftover holiday dishes to the communal aid station.
The venue allows for personal tent setups and drop bags near the aid station for resting between laps. Following a "pack in and pack out" policy is required to maintain the area. The first 100 participants to register receive custom race socks. Packet pickup takes place at the Pavilion in front of Bridgeway Brewing Co.
