Event Overview
The Resolution Run/Walk is a timed running and walking event held on January 2, 2027, at Bridgeway Station in Simpsonville, South Carolina. Participants can choose between three time durations: 3, 6, or 9 hours. The event involves completing as many laps as desired on a 2-mile loop course. Proceeds support the Upstate Running Club Youth Team.
Event Format
Participants run, walk, or roll for their chosen duration on a scenic loop. The event is self-timed. A unique tradition involves bringing a personal mug; organizers supply rocks, and participants drop one into their mug for each completed lap as a symbolic record.
On-Site Details
The event starts at Bridgeway Station (1000 Via Corso Avenue). Packet pickup begins at the Pavilion in front of Bridgeway Brewing Co. The site includes an aid station on the loop with snacks like pickles, cookies, chips, candy, and drinks including water, Coke, and ginger ale. The event is cup-less, so participants must bring their own hydration vessel. Participants are encouraged to bring a leftover holiday dish to share at the aid station. Personal tents or drop bags can be set up near the aid station.

Registration includes a finisher medal, a custom race bib, event-themed giveaways, a hydration sample, a race sticker, complimentary race photos, and access to music and a post-run hangout.
