Event overview
The Resolution Run/Walk is scheduled for January 3, 2026 at Bridgeway Station, 1000 Via Corso Avenue, Simpsonville, SC. The event offers timed participation on a scenic 2-mile loop with options for multiple hour-based challenges. Proceeds support the Upstate Running Club Youth Team. Participants receive event items such as a finisher medal, custom race bib, event giveaways, a sample hydration product, a collapsible hydration cup, stickers, and complimentary race photos. A post-race gathering with music and a holiday leftover banquet (bring your own box) is part of the event.
Format, logistics and policies
- Distances/options: 3 Hours, 6 Hours, 12 Hours
The event is self-timed. Participants use a personal mug and add one supplied rock per completed lap; laps are tallied from the registration file. A single aid station is located on the 2-mile loop and will offer pickles, cookies, chips, assorted candy, fig newtons, pretzels, water, Coke, and ginger ale. This is a cup-less event; participants must bring their own vessel. Personal tents and drop bags are permitted; participants are asked to pack in and pack out.
Registration prices listed are $40 for 3-hour, $50 for 6-hour, and $60 for 12-hour entries; ages 1-17 are listed at $15. Transfers and distance changes are allowed through the RunSignUp profile. Upstate Running Club members receive 15% off; referring two or more runners yields $5 off. Race shirts are sold separately. No refunds or deferrals are offered unless the event sells out.
