US Road Running - Midlothian
The US Road Running event in Midlothian, Virginia, takes place at Midlothian Mines Park. The meeting location for the event is at the Headstock situated next to Loch Lothian. This race is part of the US Road Running Race Series, allowing participants to earn points toward the series rankings.
Participants can choose from two distances:
- 5K
- 10K
The course is designed as an out and back layout. Runners participating in the 5K distance complete the out and back circuit two times. Those participating in the 10K distance complete the same course four times. A total course time limit of two hours is enforced for both distances.
Registration must be completed online prior to the event, as there is no option for on-site registration. Packet pickup is conducted on the morning of the race at the venue. While not required, participants are encouraged to wear costumes. A group photo is taken before the start, and an award is presented for the best costume.
