2027 Friend or Foe 5k
The Friend or Foe 5k is a themed running event held at Osborne Park & Boat Landing in Henrico, Virginia. The race takes place at Osborne Landing, a historic site that served as the location for a naval engagement during the Revolutionary War in 1781. During registration, participants select an allegiance to join either Team Blue, representing the Marquis de Lafayette, or Team Red, representing Benedict Arnold.

The course includes a water station located at approximately the 1.55-mile marker, where water and Gatorade are provided. The race is chip-timed, and live results are made available for participants to view via a QR code at the site or on designated timing websites. All finishers receive a technical shirt and a medal. For those unable to attend the physical event, a virtual race option is also available.
The VA250 Mobile Museum Experience, titled "Out of Many, One," is scheduled to be onsite to present information regarding Virginia's history. Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers overall, as well as the first and second-place finishers in various age categories ranging from 19 and under to 70 and over.
