Event overview
The Friend or Foe 5k takes place at Osborne Park & Boat Landing in Henrico, Virginia (9530 Osborne Turnpike, Henrico, VA 23231) on May 2, 2026. The course begins at Osborne Park and travels through a Revolutionary War-era landscape. Reenactors portraying Lafayette and Benedict Arnold appear along the course. Points from this race count toward the Year-Long 5k & Back of the Pack Series and the Spring Series. A virtual run option is available.
Race details
Runners receive a finisher medal, a technical (Drifit) event shirt, and the event uses chip timing. Registration fee for the 5k is listed as $17.76 until April 15 (then $20). T-shirts are guaranteed for runners registered before April 22; extra shirts may be available afterward on a first-come, first-served basis. Packet pickup is available at the event; race day registration is offered but shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed for late registrants.
There is one water station on the 5k course at about mile 1.55; Gatorade may be available at some stations. Restrooms are available onsite. Live results will be posted on Athlinks and via a QR code at the race; final results with series points are posted the Monday after the event. Awards are given to the top 3 men and women overall and to 1st and 2nd in listed age groups; top 3 overall are not eligible for age-group prizes.
