About the race
The Friend or Foe 5k is a themed road race held at Osborne Park & Boat Landing in Henrico, Virginia on April 24, 2027. The course is timed with chip timing and awards are given to the top three men and women overall plus age group prizes for 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Runners who finish in the top three overall are not eligible for age group awards. The event counts points toward the Year-Long 5k and Back of the Pack Series and toward the Spring Series.
A virtual race option is offered for participants who cannot attend in person. The VA250 Mobile Museum Experience titled "Out of Many, One" will be onsite to present Virginia’s role in the nation’s early history. Participants choose an allegiance before racing: Team Red or Team Blue, a theme drawn from historical figures. Registered runners receive a finisher medal, a technical Drifit event shirt, and chip timing.
T-shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed before April 14; additional shirts may be available afterward on a first-come first-served basis. One water station is located near mile 1.55 on the 5k course and Gatorade may be available at some stations. Restrooms are available onsite and packet pickup is provided at the event.
Live results will be posted online and final series points are published after the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
