UF Health Jacksonville Turkey Trot 5K

UF Health Jacksonville's 12th Annual Turkey Trot 5K is a community running and fundraising event held in Atlantic Beach, Florida on November 26, 2026. The event supports Brain Injury Awareness and raises funds for UF Health Jacksonville programs and services related to traumatic brain injury care and recovery.

Race packet pick-up is available at the Dune House Hotel & Spa on November 24 and 25, with additional packet pick-up on race day in the Junior Ballroom. All participants receive a finisher medal and a reusable water cup. The event includes awards for overall and age group placings, masters and grand masters categories, team awards including largest team, a costume contest, and recognition for the highest fundraiser. An awards ceremony takes place on the main stage after the 1 Mile run and walk.

Proceeds have supported direct patient services and equipment purchases, including housing and transportation for over 100 patients, equine program participation for 44 patients, acquisition of a Transcranial Doppler and an Intracranial Ultrasound, video laryngoscopes, staff training in Transcranial Doppler techniques, and education and community programs for traumatic brain injury care.
