Fruit Cove Fostering Hope 5K and Fun Run
The Fostering Hope 5K and Fun Run is scheduled for November 7, 2026, at Fruit Cove Baptist Church in Saint Johns, Florida. The event is part of Fruit Cove’s Hope Weekend and raises funds for Fostering Hope and the Hope Resource Center, which serve children and families involved in foster care and adoption.
The event offers the following distances:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Fun Run (12 and under)
Registration fees vary by category and date. Registration for the 5K includes a professionally timed race and a T-shirt, with T shirts not guaranteed for registrations received after October 23. The 1 Mile Fun Run has a stated registration fee and students registered for the 5K may participate in the Fun Run without additional registration. There are no refunds.
The 5K course starts and ends at the church, follows SR 13 into Julington Creek Plantation, and returns along the same route. The course is USATF certified, course number FL18047TY. The 5K will be professionally timed using disposable electronic timing tags attached to bibs; printed results will be posted at the site and results will be available live online. The Fun Run will not be timed.
Packet pickup is available at Fruit Cove Baptist Church on Friday, November 6, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and on race day beginning 1.5 hours before the event.
