Race for Peace
Race for Peace is a community 5K event held at Research Campus Park in Kannapolis, North Carolina on October 24, 2026. The course begins in front of the David H. Murdock Research Institute and is listed as the Race for Peace 5K.
Packet pickup is scheduled on Friday, October 23, 2026 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Bethel Enrichment Center, 1209 Opal Street, Kannapolis, NC 28083, and on Saturday, October 24, 2026 from 6:30 to 7:45 am at 150 Research Campus Drive, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
The event is one of eight races in the Run Kannapolis Race Series. Participants who register for all eight races by March 28 are eligible for a 25% discount on the total registration price.
Registration fee information is provided and varies by date. At the time of listing, example fees shown include an early price of $28.45 and a later price of $33.75 for the 5K. Registration policies state that there are no refunds, race management may cancel or modify the event due to unfavorable conditions, and registration fees are not refundable in the event of cancellation due to Acts of God.
