Punk Panther Christmas Cracker
Punk Panther Christmas Cracker is a winter trail event near Otley that takes place on Saturday 12th December 2026. It offers multiple route lengths across the Dales with open countryside views when weather permits and a maximum field of 100 entrants.

- 32 miles
Climb for the routes is 1700, 2200 and 3400 feet respectively. ITRA points are allocated as 0 for 12 miles, 1 for 19 miles and 2 for 32 miles. UTMB qualification is Q20K for the 19 mile option and Q50K for the 32 mile option. Minimum age is 18.
Route information and provisional GPX files are provided to competitors and the final route description is emailed with the final instructions. The course is not taped. There are three checkpoints located at Timble, Langbar and Stainburn Forest; the 32 mile route visits CP1, CP2, CP1 again and CP3, the 19 mile route visits CP1 and CP3, and the 12 mile route visits CP3 only. Arriving at a checkpoint after it has closed will result in retirement from the race.
All distances share a mandatory kit requirement and random kit checks may be carried out on course. Ultramarathon entrants receive a tracker; trail entrants may hire a tracker for a fee. Trackers show online progress and include an emergency button. Dogs may run subject to event rules but are not permitted inside the finish building. Every finisher is offered a medal and an event T shirt unless they opt out, and hot food with vegan and gluten free options is available at the finish.
