One Foot in the Gargrave

The event is a 23 mile walk or run starting and finishing at Gargrave Village Hall in West Street, Gargrave, Skipton. The route takes place in Malhamdale and visits locations including Kirkby Malham, Street Gate, Boss Moor, and Eshton.

The walk must be completed within 9 hours. There is a cut-off at Checkpoint 3 (16.2 miles) at 3 pm; participants not through by then will be asked to retire. The total entry limit is 200 people.

Event organization is by LDWA - West Yorkshire. Dogs are not permitted due to livestock and local farming relationships.

Parking at the village hall is limited. Additional parking is available a short walk away on Mark House Lane, less than a 5-minute walk from the start. Marshals will be present to assist. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
