About the race
One Foot in the Gargrave is a 23-mile endurance walk/run organized by LDWA – West Yorkshire. The route starts at Gargrave Village Hall and threads through the Malhamdale countryside, visiting Kirkby Malham, Street Gate, Boss Moor and Eshton for a scenic, rural course. This year marks the event’s 10th anniversary.
Participants aim to complete the distance within about nine hours, with a checkpoint at 16.2 miles that carries a cut-off. Entry is capped at 200 entrants. Parking is limited, marshals will guide participants, and dogs are not allowed due to livestock.
